40 Days of Prayer:
We will be starting our 40 Days of Prayer to ask God for guidance when it comes to selecting our next leader. The packet will be available on the 16th of October and is available as a PDF as well. See Jody for further info.
Sailboat Church Class:
We invite our congregation to read the book Sailboat Church by Joan Gray as we look to help define our church in an era of uncertainty. We will be hosting a discussion after services each Sunday, starting on October 16th. See Jody for a copy of the book.
Our Pastor Nominating Committee has just completed the MIF and it was approved by the Committee on Ministry! They are now working on the next steps to find the pastor that God has picked for our church.
The Men's Group will be holding their Monthly Luncheon at the Southwest Technical College's cafe. See Mick Bixler for more info.
We will be having our Advent Festival on December 4th in the Fellowship Hall, where we will make ornaments. Please donate crafting materials (Old sweaters, used Christmas cards, Holiday themed scrapbooking material) by December 1st.
It is a privilege to share our joys and our sorrows as the church family. Thank you for sharing your prayer requests. Requests may be made with the cards in the pew pockets, or in the office by email or phone.
Thank you for your faithful giving to the mission and ministry of this church. We appreciate your continued faithfulness.
